GENERAL HOSPITAL Is Preempted on Friday

Heads up, soap fans! GENERAL HOSPITAL will not be airing on Friday, Nov. 24! (Although for the first time in many, many years, it is airing on Thanksgiving, so you can feel free to record Thursday’s episode and watch it Friday if you like!) ABC is preempting the soap for coverage of college football (Miami at Boston College).

Because this is a national preemption, GH is not airing anywhere on Friday. So don’t go looking for it on Hulu or ABC.com later in the evening because it won’t be there. The most recent episode you will find would be Thursday’s Thanksgiving show. 

But don’t worry, because GH will be back on Monday, Nov. 27, and the action will pick up right where it left off on Thursday. You won’t miss out on a single moment of drama. Although it would probably be a good idea to double-check your DVR to make sure it’s set to record Monday’s episode because preemptions (even scheduled ones!) can play havoc with DVR scheduling!
