General Hospital Nurses Ball Preview!

After a three-year break, the GENERAL HOSPITAL Nurses Ball is back and kicks off in the Friday, March 31 episode! Maxie has been scrambling to organize the gala charity event, but she’s had plenty of help pulling it all together… even if Lucy has been more of a hindrance than a help! But what can we expect from this year’s ball?

“I’m not allowed to give out too many secrets,” Kirsten Storms (Maxie) confided to ABC entertainment reporter George Pennacchio, “but there are returning performances that I think were fan favorites. One of my personal favorites is returning.”

That’s most likely going to be the Magic Milo dancers, as recent episodes have seen some of Port Charles’ hottest hunks being recruited to perform at the ball. And joining the town’s residents on stage will be a special guest, R&B/soul singer Danielle Ponder.

And while Lucy is supposed to be in hiding to keep up the lie that she — along with Anna and Valentin — are dead, do not expect that she’s going to miss out on the Nurses Ball completely! She’s been key to the event since the very beginning, and it wouldn’t be the Nurses Ball without Lucy Coe!

“1994 was the first year and it represents everything good about what we do in daytime,” explained Lynn Herring (Lucy). “We have reality of a cause for AIDS/HIV that is so important, and acknowledging that we love everybody and everybody gets to be themselves. So I get to wear the best dresses — or the best sunglasses — and every year the story is engaged in celebrating the family of Port Charles and then our viewers, because we’re really trying to entertain them.”
