GENERAL HOSPITAL Preempted Nationally Today

Preemptions are a fact of life for soap fans, although no one likes them very much! And sadly, due to breaking news coverage, Friday’s episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL has been preempted to Monday, June 12. If you happen to see the soap airing in your area, you’ll notice it seems familiar because ABC is airing an encore episode so no one misses out.

On the plus side, because this is a national preemption, everyone is affected. If it were only a local preemption or only affecting one time zone, those who missed out on GH would have to seek it out online so they could stay caught up on all the drama. But because the preemption is national, there’s no reason to go looking for Friday’s show on ABC.com or Hulu because you won’t find it. It will simply air on Monday.

So be sure to tune in on Monday, June 12, where the action will pick up right where it left off on Thursday. Find out if Ned is going to be okay, if Joss will accept Dex’s decision, and how much danger Ava has gotten herself into with Mason!

Oh, and also be sure to double-check your DVR if that’s how you watch GH because preemptions like these often throw a monkey wrench into the programming and you’ll definitely want to make sure it records Monday’s episode!
