General Hospital Spoilers 12/23/22: A Christmas Crisis!

It may not be a very merry Christmas for everyone in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Laura and Jordan put their heads together, Brook Lynn tries to help, Ellie returns to scold Spinelli, Maxie fears the worst, Britt hits a roadblock, Sonny helps Sasha, and Cody brings some potentially bad news to Olivia!

As the police commissioner in Port Charles, Jordan is overwhelmed as usual, but she’s got the mayor backing her up. As they discuss a current investigation, Laura makes a suggestion Jordan admits would be tough to pull off. “Tough,” Laura counters, “but not impossible.” What does she have in mind?

Brook Lynn managed to make things right with Chase by helping him with getting back on the police force (though it didn’t help repair their fractured relationship) and now she’s in problem-solving mode again. “Let me see what I can do,” she tells someone over the phone.

Ellie pays Spinelli and Georgie a visit in Port Charles for the holidays, and despite his attempts to steer her away from the truth, as always, she can see right through him! “You’ve fallen for Maxie again, haven’t you?” she asks. Can she get him to finally admit the truth?

As Nina and Obrecht look on, Maxie takes a phone call. “Please tell me you have good news,” she begs the person on the other end of the line. Are her plans for Britt’s big birthday bash falling apart already? Or is this another crisis she’s having to deal with?

Meanwhile, Britt hits a stumbling block in her plans to have a final going away party disguised as a birthday celebration and it seems to be vehicular as she’s at the garage. “This is not how I wanted to spend my last Christmas in Port Charles,” she laments. But it looks like Sonny is eager to pitch in and help fix things. “We can do this by dinnertime,” he assures Sasha.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Thanksgiving is usually the holiday where things degenerate into chaos but now it seems like Christmas might not go too smoothly, either! When Olivia opens the front door she finds Cody standing there with a worried look on his face. “We’ve got a bit of a situation,” he reports. Now what?
