General Hospital Spoilers 12/28/22: Obrecht Confesses!

The new year could bring a fresh start in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Valentin and Anna continue their hunt for Lucy, Martin reconnects with Cyrus, Laura puts her guard up, Victor scolds Nikolas, Esme makes a proposition, Spencer tries to make amends, Trina puts her foot down, and Obrecht comes clean with Britt.

Valentin and Anna continue trying to find out what Victor did with Lucy so they can bring the Cassadine down and clear Anna’s name. “Any help is so greatly appreciated,” she informs someone with a friendly smile. But will they discover anything helpful here?

Martin is startled to visit Cyrus in prison and see his brother touched by God. “The Lord has truly blessed me,” Cyrus declares, raising his hands and face to the sky. Will Martin believe this “miraculous” conversion? Laura also pops over to Pentonville for a visit, but finds herself on the defensive. “Why does that sound like a threat?” she wonders.

Victor may be pleased that Nikolas and Ava are over with, but now so much with Nik’s ongoing estrangement with Spencer. “Why aren’t you fighting for your son?” Victor asks, irritated. Meanwhile, upstairs in her room, Esme tries to lure someone into her web. “Is there any way you could join me for dinner?’ she inquires. But is she hoping to charm Nikolas or Liz?

Spencer has wronged more than a few people and now that he’s served his time, he’s trying to make things right. Of course, that’s proving easier said than done! “Shut up,” he snaps. “I’m trying to apologize.” But who is he trying to apologize to? Trina is also on edge, losing her temper with Ava. “This has to end,” she announces.

Britt is concerned when her mother informs her that she’s done something that she’s not going to like. “I have betrayed your trust,” Obrecht confesses. Britt has been trying to keep her Huntington’s diagnosis a secret as she prepares to leave town, so can she forgive her mother for leaking the news?
