General Hospital Spoilers 1/10/23: Sonny Puts His Foot Down!

Tensions are rising in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Laura continues her investigation, Spencer wants justice as Esme maintains her amnesia, Victor tries to get Nikolas on side, Dex advises Josslyn, Willow opens up to Michael, and Sonny wants the fighting to stop.

While some remain skeptical about Esme’s memory loss, Elizabeth is grateful that she has amnesia because it means she can’t accuse her of helping Nikolas hold her prisoner in Wyndemere. But Laura is determined to figure out exactly what is going on. “Why would that be a good thing?” she asks Liz.

Although everyone agrees that Esme couldn’t have been responsible for the most recent Hook attacks given her pregnancy, she’s still guilty of plenty of other crimes and Spencer wants her to pay. “She needs to be held accountable,” he insists. And in her hospital bed, Esme remains stunned that she’s accused of such terrible acts. “You really think I did all this crazy stuff?” she asks someone.

Victor has been dreaming of restoring the Cassadine family to its former glory, but Valentin changing sides and Nikolas’ recent actions have pretty much ruined any chance of that happening anytime soon. “The Cassadines would be better off if they cut their losses,” Victor declares angrily. Would that include cutting Nikolas, as well?

Josslyn has been overwhelmed with guilt, both for breaking up with Cameron and also for her part in Britt’s death. Knowing a few things about dealing with survivor’s guilt, Dex tries to comfort her. “If you’re not careful, it can really mess you up,” he cautions.

Willow kept her leukemia diagnosis a secret from everyone for months and then finally told Michael, but is still trying to keep others from finding out. And having waited so long to seek treatment in order to give their baby the best chance has caused the chemotherapy to not do as well as doctors had hoped. With everything seemingly against them, Willow tearfully asks Michael: “Why don’t you hate me for that?”

Meanwhile, Sonny has discovered something that could change everything. “This infighting has to stop,” he declares to Nina. But what neither of them knows is that there are still more secrets yet to be revealed, so the drama is only just beginning!
