GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 5/20/21: Carly Drops a Bombshell!
According to these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers, there are some heavy conversations happening in Port Charles today! Laura questions Nikolas’ motives, Shawn makes a declaration to T.J., Alexis has a revelation, Dante calls out Sam, Sasha had big news for Cyrus, Carly warns Gladys she’s in over her head!
After Cyrus has threatened to go after Nikolas if he moves forward with his plan to purchase Pentonville and make the state prison a private facility, Laura is understandably concerned for her oldest child’s safety. But will she be able to talk her son out of his plans? “Is that the only reason you want to buy this prison?” Laura asks Nikolas as his wife, Ava, looks on.
Speaking of Pentonville, T.J. reunites with his bio dad, Shawn, in the visitor’s room. But there may be a day very soon when the two won’t have to speak on a secured phone with glass between them, because Shawn informs his son that he plans to fight for his freedom! “Alexis convinced me that I don’t have to pay for a crime I didn’t commit,” he tells a shocked T.J. Meanwhile, Alexis continues making waves at the state prison — but she recognizes that she’s had her own best interests in mind. “If anyone’s been selfish,” she tells her cellmate, Maggie, in the Pentonville recreation room, “it’s been me.”
Things have been rather tense between Dante and Sam lately ever since she double-crossed him in the search for Jason. Now, as they find themselves on opposite sides of the situation, Dante calls her out during a rather heated conversation at Sam’s penthouse. “I was ordered to find Jason,” insists the cop, “and that’s what I’m going to do.” But something tells us that Sam won’t sit by idly while that happens!
Over at the Deception office, Sasha gets a visit from Cyrus and tells him that they have much to talk about. Is this the first step in her plan with Brando to do whatever it takes to protect their baby from Renault? “I’m saving the best for last!” the model angrily informs a Renault, who shakes his head in response.
At the Corinthos compound, Gladys brushed off Carly’s attempts to drive her out of Port Charles and back to Connecticut, not seeming to care about Carly’s insistence that Cyrus is just using her and Brando. But dropping the bombshell that Gladys is about to be a grandmother — and Cyrus won’t take the news well — just might be the leverage Carly needs to get Sonny’s cousin out of town. “The only one who can save you and your son is me,” she informs Gladys.
