GH Spoilers 5/23/23: Sonny Wants To Marry Nina!

The drama heats up in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Josslyn has a sexy surprise for Dex, Brook Lynn clashes with Tracy, Finn offers Chase advice, Trina tries to give Spencer a push in the right direction, Drew and Carly confront Olivia, and Sonny is shaken by Nina’s reaction to his marriage proposal!

Josslyn may have been unable to convince Sonny to cut Dex loose or Michael to go through with his plan to take Sonny down, but she’s still able to brighten her boyfriend’s day! “Fancy seeing you here,” Joss teases as she surprises Dex in the steam room.

Brook Lynn might have appreciated Tracy’s help in getting Chase reinstated to the police force, but she’s not quite as thrilled with her grandmother interfering in her relationship with the guy! “Why couldn’t you just stay out of it like you promised?!” she asks, irritated. But as usual, Tracy thinks she knows best. “You are better off without him!” she declares.

At The Metro Court, Chase opens up to his brother about all the recent drama and whether that past will impact the future. “Can you put all of this behind you for good?” Finn asks him. But even if Chase forgives how Brook Lynn nearly cost him his job, how will he react when he finds out she enlisted Tracy’s help to get it back for him?

Spencer is working out his frustrations at the gym with Trina, but it doesn’t seem to be doing much to calm him down. Since Joss is her best friend, Trina suggests that Spencer needs to change his attitude about her boyfriend. “It would be better for everyone if you two could just get along,” she insists. But will that ever happen?

Running into Carly, it looks like Olivia wants to make sure that they’re still friends after everything that’s gone down. “Your husband?” Carly remarks. “That’s a different story.” Will she and Drew really go through with their plan to force Ned to help get the SEC off their backs?

During an emotional conversation where Nina admitted she’d have to get used to Sonny constantly having to choose between her and his family, he decided to try and fix things by popping the question! However, it doesn’t appear that Nina is ready or willing to become Mrs. Corinthos quite yet. “You wanna rethink your answer?” Sonny asks her as she wipes away tears.
