General Hospital Spoilers 5/7/21: Carly Makes Sonny a Promise

It’s trouble with a capital “T” in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Jax vents to Liz, Willow and Michael accept the facts, Cameron fills in Joss, Olivia and Robert flirt, Anna updates Valentin, Peter visits Maxie, Dante brings Sam in, and Carly vows to protect her family no matter what it takes!

Jax has been growing more and more frustrated with the violence in Port Charles and laments to Elizabeth: “It’s never gonna stop, is it?” Meanwhile, Cameron visits Joss to fill her in on what he has learned about Franco’s murder. “You don’t know everything,” he insists.

Willow and Michael were ready to start a real relationship until Chase was poisoned and they agreed she couldn’t break his heart while he was still in danger of dying. “Right now, that’s more important,” she tells Michael, her voice tinged with sadness. Will they ever get a chance to start a life together?

At the police station, Olivia and Robert get their flirt on, and it’s adorable! “Something between you and me,” she smiles, acting bashful. “It’s crazy!” Robert returns the smiles and turns on the charm. Could romance blossom between these two?

At the hospital, Anna fills Valentin in on the latest. “I told Finn the truth,” she reveals. Valentin looks a little taken aback that she confessed everything — does he not think they can trust the doc with the truth about Peter’s nefarious plans? It should be okay right now because Finn is just focused on keeping his brother alive and well. “You can’t leave the hospital,” he insists.

Speaking of Peter, he’s paying Maxie another visit, this time bearing a milkshake for the mom-to-be. But his suspicions are immediately raised when he enters the apartment. “Who’s here with you?” he asks. Maxie just raises her eyebrows and smiles as she tries to look nonchalant. Can she pull the wool over Peter’s eyes?

Realizing Sam had gotten the location of the safehouse where Jason and Britt were hiding out from Spinelli, Dante followed her there only to find the place already empty. But that’s not the end! “I’ve gotta take you in right now for questioning,” Dante informs her.

With Sonny presumed dead and Jason injured and on the run, Carly was forced to step up to represent the Corinthos clan at the meeting of the Five Families. And now, as she dreams of her husband, Carly makes a solemn vow to him. “I”m gonna do what it takes to protect our family,” she promises. How far will she go?
