General Hospital Spoilers 10/12/22: Has Sonny Given Up?

Tensions are high in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers thanks to botched plans, dangerous situations, blackmail, and revenge! Valentin and Anna worry for Lucy’s safety, Cameron checks in on Josslyn, Nikolas reacts to Esme’s bombshell, Carly heads into battle, Michael and Dex plot their next move, and Sonny worries that he’s lost Michael forever!

Still trying to prove that Victor is behind Luke’s death, Valentin and Anna sent Lucy in once again to press the Cassadine for information. Setting up camp in the park, Valentin and Anna listen in on the conversation via the listening device they planted in Victor’s hotel room. But when Anna finally listens to Robert’s voicemail that he won’t be able to detain Johann and keep Victor’s bodyguard out of the way, she realizes that an urgent change of plans is needed to keep her friend safe. “Lucy needs to get out of there,” an upset Anna exclaims. “Now!”

Rushing in to save Lucy is definitely a good idea because over at the Metro Court Hotel, something has Johann’s lederhosen in a twist! “You’re not leaving,” Victor’s loyal bodyguard informs Lucy, “until I’m done.”

Over at Kelly’s, Josslyn checks in with Cameron after spending the last few days fretting about Dex. Is there trouble in paradise thanks to all the time Joss has been spending with the older guy? “Is that a problem?” she curtly questions Cameron. “Kind of,” Cam confesses to his girlfriend. Uh-oh!

GH Nikolas Esme — Esme’s baby news stuns Nikolas.ABC

At Wyndemere, Nikolas’ day has gone from bad to worse. Not only is Esme alive, but she is pregnant! “It’s my get-out-of-jail-free card,” she gloats. Will guilt and threats of blackmail cause Nikolas to give in and do Esme’s bidding, or will he find a way to get the upper hand in this situation?

Down in Florida, Carly continues her fight to prevent the Jacksonville beautification committee from demolishing the cemetery where her mom is buried just so a road can be built for better beach access. Carly’s already spoken to the local media, and now she’s prepared to plead her case with the city council. When Drew asks if she is ready, Carly confidently tells him, “The better question is, are they ready for me?”

Back in Port Charles, Michael discusses the next phase of his plan to take down his father with Dex and is sure they are on the right track. “We have Sonny right where we want him,” Michael assures his partner.

Meanwhile, Sonny is still upset that his relationship with Michael seems broken beyond repair and shares his worries with someone who offers a sympathetic ear. “Nothing’s going to change his mind,” the resigned father declares.
