GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 9/16/20: Sonny Must Let Mike Go

Time is running out in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers but even as everyone says their last goodbyes to Mike, he continues to linger. Can Sonny give his father permission to go?

Michael has something to say to Willow but is clearly nervous so she tries to put his mind at ease. “Nothing you tell me will ever make me think less of you,” she assures him. Can he find the right words to say what he needs to say?

At Turning Woods, Mike’s family gathers around for his final days to say goodbye. But even though the patient remains unresponsive, Josslyn informs Carly that may not be the case. “I think grandpa knows more than we realize,” she suggests. Brando also stops by to see Mike. “I wanted to pay my respects, if that’s okay,” he admits. 

Carly continues to worry about Sonny and his struggle to say goodbye to his father. “He’ll do the right thing,” Jason promises her. “He always does.” And as Mike continues to linger, Stella admits to Sonny that he may have to do something he doesn’t want to do. “I think he’s waiting for permission to let go,” she tells him. But can Sonny bring himself to give his father permission to die?
