GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 9/2/20: Sonny’s Final Gift to Mike

Facing the truth can be hard in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers. Robert tries to get Anna to face reality, Maxie worries to Lulu, Ned begs Olivia to listen to reason, Sasha thinks Chase is crazy, Michael asks Willow to take a big step, and Carly has something to tell Sonny as he gives Mike a very special day out.

Anna might want to get Robert to accept Holly’s fate, but he’s just as determined to get her to see that she’s the one who’s wrong! “Keep on avoiding the truth,” he declares angrily, “or step up and face it?” Can these two come to an agreement?

Over coffee, Maxie asks Lulu for her take on things. “Is it horrible?” she asks after explaining the situation. Lulu just makes a face and admits, “Yes.” Can Lulu offer any suggestions for making it better?

Ned wasn’t thrilled by Olivia’s plan to go see Dante and continues trying to talk her out of it. “You can honor his wishes by leaving him alone?” he reminds his wife. But since when has Olivia ever listened to anybody once she has her mind made up?

Chase is still confident that their plan to swap partners to ensure Michael gets custody of Wiley and then swap back will work but Sasha doesn’t seem quite as optimistic. “Are you out of your mind?” she asks him. Meanwhile, Michael has made a decision about his future with Willow. “I want you to adopt Wiley,” he declares. Will Michael and Willow become so connected they won’t be able to separate?

Sonny has a big day out at the track planned for his father, who is having a rare lucid day. But Carly could spoil his happiness by telling him what really happened with Nelle. “There’s something I have to tell you,” she admits. Still, it seems nothing could spoil the close moment between father and son as Sonny offers his father one last day of happiness. “Thank you, son,” Mike says, his voice thick with emotion.
