GH Spoilers 9/30/21: What Does Esme Want With Sonny?

The plot thickens in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Josslyn tracks Esme, Ava has unfinished business, Spencer doesn’t trust Cam, Alexis questions Shawn, Ned asks Jason about the future, Carly blasts Jax, and Sonny offers to help Esme. But what is she really after?

Josslyn has promised Trina that she’s going to keep an eye on Esme and followed her to the hospital. So is it the mysterious new young woman in town she confronts? “Your ‘feelings’ will be the last of your problems,” Joss promises. Don’t mess with Carly’s daughter — she takes after her mom!

Nikolas has promised he will make sure the stalker is taken care of so that they can be together but Ava seems determined to put some distance between them for her own safety. But she’s not quite ready to skip town yet. “I still have some unfinished business,” Ava admits.

GH Ned Jason — Jason seems unsure about his future!ABC

At Wyndemere, Cameron is keeping Spencer occupied while Josslyn tracks Esme, and has tried to convince his pal that he should give his father another shot, even after all that’s happened. But Spencer seems unimpressed by Cam’s next suggestion. “Can you really make that promise?” he asks him.

Shawn pays a visit to Spring Ridge to see Alexis, and she can tell that he’s keeping something from her. “What is it that you’re trying not to tell me?” she wonders. Will he come clean or keep her in the dark?

At the Quartermaines, Ned questions Jason about the details of Sonny’s surprising “resurrection” and how this is going to affect his life. “What happens to you now that Sonny’s back?” he asks. Of course, Jason won’t have an answer for that… yet! Meanwhile, Carly continues to confront those who kept Sonny from her for so long and has moved on to Jax. “You’re expecting a thank you?” she shouts. “Go to hell!”

At the hospital, Esme approached Sonny and acted relieved to have finally found him. “You were right coming to me,” he informs the young woman. What is Esme really up to and how does Sonny factor into her schemes?
