General Hospital Spoilers 9/5/22: Sonny Steps Up!

These new GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers are full of celebrations, surprises, and confessions! Brando worries about Sasha as she gets bad news from Lucy, Trina asks Rory an important question, Jordan’s presence at Trina’s party has Portia feeling unsettled, Cameron is shocked by Spencer’s decision, Josslyn and Dex grow closer, Brook Lynn catches Chase off guard, and Sonny holds all the power when someone needs a favor!

Sasha didn’t take Brando’s suggestion of a conservatorship very well, leaving her husband even more worried than he was before about his wife’s fragile state of mind. In desperate need of some advice, Brando unloads his worries and fears on someone in his inner circle. “Sasha’s in trouble,” he confesses. But has he turned to his mom, Gladys, for encouragement? Or cousin Sonny?

Meanwhile, Sasha takes a meeting with Lucy about her role in the future of Deception — and it sounds like things aren’t going to end well for the model! “What’s the bottom line, Lucy?” an angry Sasha asks her business partner. Has Lucy gone through with her decision to remove Sasha as the spokesmodel for the cosmetics company? And will the news push Sasha further over the edge?

At a party thrown by Portia and Curtis to celebrate Trina, the guest of honor is finally looking forward to her future without the threat of jail time looming overhead. As she puts the past few awful months behind her, Trina has decided that she wants Rory by her side as she takes her next steps. “I’m ready to take the leap if you are,” Trina confesses to the rookie cop. Are these two about to make their relationship status official?

Elsewhere at Trina’s party, Jordan hopes that she and Portia can co-exist now that the doctor is engaged to the police commissioner’s ex-husband. “Is me being here going to be a problem?” Jordan asks a stone-faced Portia. Meanwhile, it’s the eve before Spencer is supposed to turn himself in, and he’s walking around Trina’s party with the letter he penned to her, confessing his feelings, tucked into his jacket pocket. But will he actually give Trina the love note? If that is indeed Spencer’s plan, he seems to have Cameron’s full support! “That is your first non-stupid idea you’ve had all year,” Cameron declares to his best friend.

Sparks continue to fly between Josslyn and Dex — even while they are dumpster diving in search of Avery’s lost charm bracelet! “Are you going to help me,” a sassy Josslyn questions Dex, “or not?”

Brook Lynn and Chase have only been an official couple for a hot minute, and she’s already hatched a plot that makes him think she’s taken things too far. “I’m sorry,” a surprised Chase asks his girlfriend. “You did what?” (But really, Chase, have you not met BLQ? Are you that surprised?)

Finally, Sonny is in the position to play fairy godfather to someone in Port Charles. But who has come to the Dimpled Don with a request — will he be in a giving kind of mood? “What favor do you need?” Sonny questions.
