It’s been a while since The Hook has claimed a victim, but while they may be laying low, Jordan knows better than to think that their reign of terror is over. “It’s premature to think that the killer is done,” she tells Dante in her office. And Dante is determined to bring The Hook to justice. “She’s got to be stopped,” he declares.

Diane’s description of her attacker led the cops to believe that The Hook is a woman, and naturally, Esme became the prime suspect, especially when it appeared that all of the victims had ties to Trina. But now Ava is starting to second-guess that particular theory. “It could be that Esme is not the hook killer,” Ava admits to a stunned Trina. But then who could it be?

On the job, a uniformed Rory approaches room 82 in an apartment building and knocks on the door. Under his pounding, the door slides open to reveal that it’s unlocked, and he peers inside.
