The new year kicks off with a bang in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Things are heating up for some Port Charles couples while Maxie prepares for her big day and Jason and Carly continue the search for Sonny. But has she crossed a line?

Despite there being no sign of Sonny anywhere after the bridge collapse, Carly refuses to give up hope that her husband will return to her in one piece. “Sonny’s coming back,” she whispers to herself. But what happened to him, and if Sonny returns, what shape will he be in?

Molly finally unburdened herself and told T.J. that she’d slept with Brando, but it actually seems to have brought the pair closer together as they share a steamy shower! Meanwhile, Brando has another woman in his life as he and Sasha continue to bond and she leans in to give the guy a kiss!

Maxie’s wedding day is fast approaching and as she prepares to become Mrs. Peter August, she threatens to become a Bridezilla! “It’s true!” she grins. Without BFF Lulu around to help with the preparations, is there anyone who can keep Maxie from getting too out of control?

Carly had her own ideas about helping take down Cyrus, but Jason doesn’t seem pleased to learn about how she had the drug runner’s mother, Florence, removed from the long term care facility where Cyrus had placed her! “This is a line I never thought I would cross!” he shouts at his friend before storming out of the room. As the door slams, Carly flinches, worried she’s done something unforgivable.
