General Hospital Spoilers: Will Ava Confess?

Threats become reality in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Curtis tries to push Portia away, Ava meets the new nanny, and Sonny can tell that there’s something suspicious going on. But will Ava tell him the truth about the danger they’re in?

Curtis was stunned to wake up after surgery and learn that because the bullet had lodged near his spine, he had no feeling in his legs and may never walk again. Portia tries to be supportive, but he insists that she shouldn’t saddle herself with a cripple. “If I’m never gonna walk again,” he laments, “what you’re gonna do is let me go.” But can Portia really leave the man she loves in this state?

Under pressure from Mason, Ava agreed to fire Pilar and hire a new nanny named Betty Rutherford. And while officially, she’ll be taking care of Avery, unofficially, she’ll be working for Mason to get the dirt he’s after on Sonny. “I’m about to meet the nanny,” Ava sighs.

And Betty isn’t going to let Ava get in the way of her mission. “This job is mine,” she warns. “And there’s nothing you can do about it.” Ava bristles, but knows she’s caught between a rock and a hard place and has to go along with Mason’s plan or see her “murder” of Nikolas exposed.

However, Sonny also has a say in who takes care of his daughter, and there’s something about the whole situation between Ava and the new nanny that raises his suspicions. “You’re scared,” he notes. “I can tell.” Confronting Ava at Wyndemere, he wants to know exactly what she’s up to. “What the hell’s going on?” he demands to know. Will Ava finally come clean and ask Sonny for help? And will he give it?
