GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Drew Cheetwood Is Moving

Tags:

After leaving California and GENERAL HOSPITAL behind in 2015, Drew Cheetwood (ex-Milo) moved with his family to Michigan and he began working as a realtor. However, now, eight years later, the Port Charles fan favorite found himself on the other side of the fence.

“Recently I did something I’ve helped many families do over the last eight years,” Cheetwood shared on Instagram. “I sold a home. It just happened to be my own. I’m notably nostalgic in my family. In a home of four beautiful females, there is no shortage of daily emotional power and I am no exception.”

Having spent nearly a decade in this home with his family, Cheetwood was understandably emotional about packing up and moving to somewhere new. “This was our first home,” he confided. “A home with lived and loved for five years. It went incredibly fast. To the point where it felt vaguely odd to be moving our last box out when I felt we just moved our last box in.

“I sat in here today and took it all in,” he continued. “Birthday parties, family gatherings, and holiday memories. Daily living memories… homework time, ‘what are we eating for dinner’ contemplation and all the hours listening to our daughter, Grace, play the piano right behind me here. This home was our sanctuary during the pandemic lockdown. It’s been such a blessing making this house a home. Our home.”

Cheetwood and his wife, Jenna, have three beautiful daughters together, Grace (10), Josephine (6), and Everly (5). So when he and his family moved into this Michigan home, the two youngest children hadn’t yet arrived. The proud Dad admitted that oldest child Grace is just as sensitive and nostalgic as he is, and that he now understands the true meaning of the classic phrase, “Home is where the heart is.”

“Because wherever my wife and girls (and our dog, River) are, so too, will be my heart,” Cheetwood declared. “And while I’m incredibly grateful for all this home has provided us, I now understand why it can’t or shouldn’t be so hard to let go of. My heart (and home) goes wherever we go.”

While some GH fans who enjoyed Cheetwood’s brief return as Milo for both the tribute to Sonya Eddy’s beloved Epiphany and the 2023 Nurses Ball hoped this move might be to the West Coast, he didn’t indicate exactly where the family was moving to. He only declared in the comments: “If I got to choose a coast I got to choose the East.”

We wish the Cheetwood family all the best in their new abode, wherever it may be, and can’t wait to see some wonderful new photos of it as they all settle in and make their new house their new home.
