Dev may have met a tragic fate on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but portrayer Ashton Arbab is doing much better! The talented young performer is starring in the new movie Powder Pub, which released on March 26!

“My new movie, Powder Pup, is out now!” Arbab enthused on Instagram. “From Lionsgate, available on Prime Video. Directed by the talented Ari Novak. Thank you for believing in me to lead this film and play such a fun and amazing role in Shaun Kendrick! I had the best time ever.

“Congrats to all the cast and crew on the immense hard work we put into this project,” he continued. “Miss you all and hope to see you soon.”

Powder Pup centers around Arbab’s character of Shaun, a young surfer from California who isn’t crazy about his father’s plan to move to Montana. But after he meets a dog who can snowboard, his entire life changes… especially when the pup is abducted and Shaun is forced to compete in the annual snowboarding championship!

The cast also includes DAYS OF OUR LIVES alum Mike Manning (ex-Charlie) as Shaun’s nemesis, Blake, and Rib Hillis (Jake, PORT CHARLES) as Shaun’s dad, Kenneth. Manning also had a hand in writing the script!

Since his brief run as Dev Cerci came to an end in 2020, Arbab has kept busy with his music as well as appearing in films like A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting and primetime shows like FEAR THE WALKING DEAD and THE VILLAINS OF VALLEY VIEW (which stars his former GH castmate, James Patrick Stuart (Valentin)!)

Powder Pup is currently available to rent or buy on Amazon and other digital platforms. Check out the trailer below!
