GH Alum Julie Berman Celebrates Son Holden’s First Birthday!

Please join us in wishing Holden Jeffrey Grady a very happy first birthday! Proud Mom Julie Berman (ex-Lulu, GENERAL HOSPITAL) shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to celebrate her son’s big day. “One year of knowing you,” she wrote. “You smile and laugh more than I knew a baby could, and watching the instant and indescribable bond between you and your brother is the best part of my days.

“I’m the luckiest to be your mommy,” she added. “Here’s to the best life ahead! I love, love, love you, my little Holden.”

That was just the caption to a lovely video post that begins with Berman holding her older son, Asher — who is about to turn four himself— while husband Michael Grady cuts into a gender reveal cake that reveals that they’re going to have another baby boy. Following a quick shot of Holden’s sonogram, we see a very pregnant Berman dancing around the living room with Asher before cutting to a newborn Holden.

Then it’s just a series of absolute cuteness as we see Holden being bathed, fed, and enjoying getting to know his big brother through cuddles, crawling, and more. And as cute as Holden is as a piano to Ashler’s Elton John on Halloween, he’s even more adorable dressed up as a turkey for Thanksgiving!

Berman first joined the cast of GH as a SORAS-ed Lulu Spencer in 2005 and remained with the soap until 2013, earning three Daytime Emmy Awards for her performances. After her exit, the actress appeared in primetime series like TWO AND A HALF MEN, JANE THE VIRGIN, and GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE. She could also be seen in a recurring role on CHICAGO MED as Dr. Sam Zanetti and her recurring role as Lei on the Hulu comedy CASUAL became a series regular.

Although her most recent role was an episode of CSI: VEGAS in 2021, Berman is clearly enjoying playing the most important role of all — mother! Her children are absolutely adorable and we can’t wait to see even more cute photos and videos as Holden and Asher continue to grow up!
