GH Alum Ryan Carnes Is in a New Band!

Tags:

Soap fans know Ryan Carnes as the actor who brought Lucas to life on GENERAL HOSPITAL for many years but he is also a talented musician who sings and plays drums. And after making music with Vanessa Silberman, the pair have now teamed up to create the band LOVECOLOR!

The duo first began sharing their collaborative efforts on social media back in 2020 when the pandemic first hit and everyone went into lockdown. But they continued to work together virtually until they were able to play together in person again. “Learning the new tracks with Vanessa,” Carnes shared in June 2022 when they got together to create new music. “Damn, it feels good.”

“It has been so long since both Ryan and I had been in a room together rehearsing music,” Silberman said at the same time. “Too long. We’re so incredibly excited about the new music and we can’t wait to play the new songs live for you all, share what we’ve been working on behind the scenes, and see you all in person as well as start touring again.”

As the months went on, Carnes and Silbermann began sharing some behind-the-scenes video clips of them working together on the music, including shooting a video and recording tracks for an upcoming album. In November, they showed some of their photo shoot and then announced that they had officially formed a band that they were calling LOVECOLOR.

Unfortunately, it’s still early, and there is no music yet on the band’s official website or YouTube channel, but keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for future updates and we’ll let you know when the music video, singles, and the full album are released. Oh, and also when Carnes and Silberman announce a tour schedule so you can go see them in concert!
