GH Stars Share a Special Message for “Vanna” Fans

Tags:

The chemistry between Finola Hughes and James Patrick Stuart was undeniable but it took a while before GENERAL HOSPITAL finally put Anna and Valentin together in the romance that fans had been waiting for. And the actors are also big fans of the couple nicknamed “Vanna.”

“I’m the one who buys the T-shirts,” Stuart joked to Soap Opera Digest, to which Hughes added: “Yeah, he has them made up.”

As veterans of daytime television, the two actors know that the fans are what keep soaps on the air and they are appreciative of the GH viewers for not only supporting the show but also the pairing of Anna and Valentin, turning them into one of the show’s supercouples.

“I just want to say, ‘Thank you so much,’” Hughes told fans. “Thank you for digging it, you know? Thank you for getting on board with what we’re doing here.”

“The reason why Finola and I both agree that I’m the bigger Vanna fan is that Finola, suspiciously, has been in other supercouples,” Stuart added. “I have not. This is a first for me. So something tells me that what’s the most likely cause is that Finola is so exceptional. That’s not lost on me.”

Of course, it takes two to tango, and Vanna wouldn’t be so popular if both of the actors weren’t at the top of their game. “I think we and the fans are all in this together,” Stuart mused. “We are fond of each other and also, we really respect and are thinking of the fans at the same time. So it means a lot that it works for them.”

So make sure to keep watching GH to see what romantic twists and turns lie ahead for Vanna!
