GH’s Josh Swickard Stars in a Romantic New Holiday Movie!

Get ready to watch GENERAL HOSPITAL star Josh Swickard (Chase) in yet another romantic holiday movie! Fans enjoyed watching him opposite his real-life wife, Lauren, in 2020’s A California Christmas and its 2021 sequel A California Christmas: City Lights, but this year the actor is jumping from Netflix to HBO Max with the upcoming A Hollywood Christmas!

Deadline is reporting that A Hollywood Christmas is going to premiere on streaming service HBO Max on Thursday, Dec. 1. In the film, a filmmaker named Jessica, who has made a name for herself making Christmas movies, finds herself in trouble when a handsome network executive named Christopher shows up threatening to stop her latest production. As she struggles to save her Christmas movie, Jessica finds herself living in one herself, dealing with actors falling in and out of love, a wayward elf dog, and her own feelings for her supposed nemesis in order to find a happy ending.

Although there are no details as to which character Swickard is playing, we’d put good money on the handsome GH star portraying the handsome network executive! The cast also includes Jessika Van, Anissa Borrego, Riley Dandy, Zak Steiner, Tom Williamson, Emelia Hartford, and Missi Pyle.

A Hollywood Christmas may have a release date, but as it’s still in production, there isn’t much more information about it available yet. So keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for more as additional details are announced and a trailer is released. And be sure to mark Dec. 1 on your calendar so you can get into the holiday spirit early!
