GH’s New Danny Morgan Is Asher Jared Antonyzyn

The kids in Port Charles are always growing and changing, so don’t be confused when Danny Morgan looks a little different on GENERAL HOSPITAL!

The new issue of Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the role of Sam and Jason’s son has been recast with Asher Jared Antonyzyn, who will be making his daytime debut the week of Oct. 30.

Antonyzyn will also be making his television acting debut with his GH role and doesn’t even have an IMDb page yet. He has been working as a model for Model Act Studios and International Models & Talent, and was excited to be shooting his first commercial in August. The young performer also appeared in a recent holiday campaign for Dick’s Sporting Goods.

After Danny’s birth in June 2012, the character was played by a series of twins until T.K. Weaver took over in 2016. After his exit in 2019, Porter Fasullo assumed the role until 2021. The soap recast again in the fall of 2021 with Zakary Risinger making a handful of appearances in November and December.

Port Charles’ younger set has been getting a little bit more play recently, with Charlotte stirring up trouble as she also started dating Jake. How might Danny play into the storylines? We can’t wait to find out!
