Johnny Wactor Shares His Love for GENERAL HOSPITAL Fans!

Having just started on GENERAL HOSPITAL in January 2020, Johnny Wactor (Brando) is still a relative newcomer to daytime. But even in just a couple of years, he’s learned how amazing soap fans can be! And after a recent GH fan event in New Jersey he attended with Donnell Turner (Curtis), Marcus Coloma (Nikolas), Maura West (Ava), John J. York (Mac), and Brook Kerr (Portia), he shared the love on Instagram with some photos from the day.

“Going to these GH fan events are such a blessing,” Wactor enthused. “We truly have the best and most loyal diehard fans on the planet. And they are the reason why GH has been on for nearly 60 years. Their passion for GH characters and knowledge of storylines is rivaled by few. And it gives us actors the unique and humbling experience to meet these great people all over the country who support our work.”

The actor also took a moment to give a special shout-out to one particular fan, Danielle. “We’ve interacted over social media for over a year but yesterday was the first time we met in person,” Wactor revealed. “Aside from making original graphic arts and “Brasha” mashups, she brought me a slew of thoughtful gifts in our first meeting.

“One being a very generous donation to the American Heart Association in honor of my father passing in 2020 from heart and cancer treatment complications,” he continued. “Your heart and thoughtfulness is so welcomed and appreciated.”

So just remember that as excited as you are to meet your favorite soap stars, they’re equally as enthusiastic about meeting their fans!
