GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Josh Swickard and Wife Lauren Welcome a Baby Girl!
She’s here! GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Josh Swickard (Chase) and his wife, Lauren, had an extra reason to be thankful this Easter Sunday. Six weeks after announcing that they were in the final stretch of Lauren’s pregnancy, the couple welcomed a daughter on Fri., April 2. The new parents shared their joyous news in coordinating Instagram posts on Easter Sunday, two days after baby Savannah Kaye was born.
In his Instagram post, the GH star shared two photos, a selfie taken by Lauren of the trio in her hospital bed as she cuddled Savannah and her husband rested his head on her shoulder, eyes closed in a content smile. The actor’s other photo was an adorable daddy/daughter shot of little Savannah sleeping on his bare chest, getting that important skin-to-skin contact after her birth.
“Savannah Kaye Swickard! You have no idea how loved you are!” the gushing dad wrote in his post. “And what an absolute boss your mama is. Welcome to the world, baby girl.”
Meanwhile, in her Instagram post, Lauren posted the same family selfie, as well as several other shots. “Born 4-2-21 on Good Friday,” Lauren wrote. “You are a world changer, baby girl.” Three photos are of mom cuddling with baby Savannah in her hospital bed, and another is of the newborn in her bassinet, swaddled in a white blanket trimmed in pink and blue and wearing a pink, white, and blue beanie adorned with a bow. Mrs. Swickard also shared a photo of her adoringly watching over her daughter’s bassinet while Savannah slept, and an absolutely frame-worthy shot of her husband conked out in the hospital’s recliner bed chair next to his sleeping daughter, all tucked in in her bassinet.
