Josh Swickard’s Family Moves to the Country!

Tags:

Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL star Josh Swickard (Chase) and his family on their beautiful new home! The actor, his wife, Lauren (who recently played Nurse Janice on GH), and their children, two-year-old Savannah and eight-month-old Arthur, have moved to the country!

“After a nine-month farmhouse renovation, we are so happy to tell the world… we bought a farm!” Lauren announced on Instagram. “We know we have a lot to learn, and so many memories to make. Saying bye to Los Angeles was bittersweet, but we are looking forward to the next chapter!”

In the video, set to “Love” by FaceSoul, you can see the entire family wandering around the grounds, showing off some of the fruit they’re growing and the horses they are raising and riding. And also just enjoying the countryside and fresh air… not to mention the gorgeous sunsets!

Swickard earned tons of devoted fans when he joined the cast of GH in February 2018, so they were naturally concerned about how moving out of L.A. and working on a farm was going to impact his job. But when some asked if this meant he was leaving the soap, Lauren assured them, “he’s not.” Phew!

The couple is now kind of living the reality of their 2020 hit Netflix movie, A California Christmas! There, Swickard played a wealthy guy who pretends to be a ranch hand when he falls for the farm’s beautiful owner, played by his real-life wife, Lauren (who also wrote and co-produced the flick and its 2021 sequel)!

We wish the Swickard family all the best on their new adventure, and we can’t wait to see more pictures of their farm!
