Joshua Benard Done at GENERAL HOSPITAL

With Adam taking a stand against his father and finally asserting control over his own life, that brings his story arc to an end, and that means Joshua Benard’s run on GENERAL HOSPITAL has also come to an end. For now, anyway!

Joshua first appeared on GH back in 2018 when he played a young Sonny Corinthos in a special episode celebrating the 25th anniversary of his father, Maurice Benard, on the soap. Then, in March 2022, the young actor returned to Port Charles in the newly created role of Adam. After a few sporadic appearances that year, Adam returned in September 2023 for a storyline of his own.

Feeling the pressure from his parents to go to med school, Adam struggled with his studies and began popping pills to help. Josslyn attempted to help her classmate, and had to rush him to the hospital after he overdosed. There, his father showed up and Adam finally stood up to the guy, deciding to pursue his love of music.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Benard’s current run on GH has come to an end with his appearance in the Feb. 1 episode, though there is always the possibility that he could reprise the role of Adam at some point in the future. Which makes sense, given that he’ll still be attending PCU with Josslyn and Trina. (And it would be nice to see the kid doing well and happy for a change after all this trauma he’s had to go through!)

So keep watching to see if Adam ever pops up again!
