Juliet Donenfeld Is the New Georgie on General Hospital
Some fans may have been confused when they saw the preview for the May 2 episode of General Hospital and wondered who the girl sitting on the couch with Violet and Lois was. Well, that’s Maxie’s daughter, Georgie, but the role has temporarily been recast with Juliet Donenfeld!
Soap Opera News is reporting that Donenfeld is stepping in for Lily Fisher as Georgie, but Fisher is expected to be returning to the role, so this recast is only temporary.
When Maxie and Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie, was born in 2013, the infant was played by Harper Barash, the real-life daughter of Kirsten Storms’ (Maxie). By 2017, Georgie had a growth spurt and Fisher stepped into the role. She continued to appear until July 2023 when the role was recast with Eden Harker. But in October of that year, Fisher was back on the soap.
Donenfeld made her television debut in The Ranch, working with Sam Elliott, and starred as J.J. on the Netflix comedy The Big Show Show. She has also done quite a bit of voice work for cartoons and videogames, most recently playing characters in Young Jedi Adventures and Gabby’s Dollhouse.
GH marks Donenfeld’s daytime debut, so please join us in welcoming her to Port Charles!
