Kate Mansi Shares a Backstage Peek at Her Super Bowl Ad!

Soap fans who watched Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 might have seen a very familiar face during one of the commercials. If you thought that was Kate Mansi (Kristina, GENERAL HOSPITAL) in the spot for Spectrum Internet, pat yourself on the back – you’ve got a good eye!

In the ad, Mansi’s character comes home to find a huge hole knocked through their living room wall and her husband casually explains that he figured out the problem with their home wi-fi was that the walls were blocking it so he solved it by opening up a big hole. After Mansi casually asks why they couldn’t just get a better internet provider (three guesses who that would be), her hubby says that it’s okay now because he’s fixed it. After her daughter confirms there’s more than one hole in the wall, her son suggests she might not want to go in the dining room and Mom snarks: “This is why I don’t leave the house.”

Mansi may have just started playing Kristina on GH back in May 2023, but she’s also well-known to soap fans from her lengthy stint as Abigail on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, so plenty of viewers recognized her on their screens during the big game!

“Boop,” Mansi posted on Instagram as the caption to a trio of behind-the-scenes pics from her Super Bowl ad. The first shows her posing outside framed through the hole in the wall (as seen at the top of this article). Second is a shot of her and her TV husband Chad Crone sitting in director’s chairs while talking with director Clay Weiner. And third is a pic from the set of the monitor displaying the scene being shot.
