Kelly Thiebaud Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!

The Britch is back again! Kelly Thiebaud is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Dr. Britt Westbourne for another run! Since her last visit to Port Charles, the actress has appeared as Eva Vasquez on the primetime series STATION 19 and originated the role of Zoey on DAYS OF OUR LIVES before scheduling forced a recast.

Thiebaud first debuted as Britt back in September 2012 and departed in December 2014. However, the actress has reprised her role for brief stints since then, returning in the spring of 2015, December 2017, and fall of 2018. Her most recent appearance was from March to April of 2020 as Britt offered Brad support as he was on trial for the baby swap. She also took over Kim’s position at the hospital as an OBGYN and kicked off a brief but torrid fling with Julian! Unfortunately, just as things were heating up, Britt left for another job.

So what brings Britt back to GH? You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out! She’ll definitely be involved in the Wiley storyline, especially Julian’s involvement in keeping the baby swap a secret. So you know it’s going to be extra juicy! Although there are no details yet as to when she’ll be back on screen, Soap Opera Digest is reporting that this stint will be much longer than her last one, so they’ll have time to develop a bigger storyline for her!
