Kirsten Storms Opens up About Her GH Gal Pals

Maxie is a pretty beloved character on GENERAL HOSPITAL, both by the other residents of Port Charles and the fans. And portrayer Kirsten Storms has become especially close with the actresses who play her co-workers at Deception!

While Brook Lynn isn’t going to be named Employee of the Year anytime soon, Storms has bonded with Amanda Setton. “She and I have found this good comedic timing with each other recently and that’s just led to us hanging out when we’re at work together,” Storms revealed to Soap Opera Digest. “We text each other to check in on each others’ kids and send each other photos and stuff.”

And the friendship between Maxie and Lucy has extended off-screen as Storms has gotten to know more about Lynn Herring and discover what a joy it is to work with the GH vet.

“I have been working with Lynn Herring a ton recently,” the actress confided. “She is so amazing. Her energy is infectious. She and I will figure out stuff to do with scenes until we’re blue in the face on how to make it funny. I’ve been really excited every time I see that I have scenes with her and I’ve gotten to know her better through that. I had no idea she had a ranch!”

Of course, Storms remains BFFs with her former castmate Emme Rylan (ex-Lulu), despite them no longer working together on the soap. “Emme is still my ride-or-die but no ride to the airport,” she joked. “That’s what we say, because no matter how much we love each other, we’re not driving each other to the airport.”
