GH’s Kirsten Storms Plots Revenge on Bestie Emme Rylan
On GENERAL HOSPITAL, Lulu hasn’t been a daily part of Maxie’s life in over a year — she’s been in a coma at a long-term care facility ever since getting caught in the Floating Rib explosion. But in real life, Emme Rylan and Kirsten Storms are still thick as thieves and the best of friends. And as best friends often do, especially around the holiday season when they are moms, talk often turns to ideas for the Elf on the Shelf!
What to do with their kids’ elves was the topic of conversation between Storms and Rylan this weekend, some of which they documented in Instagram Stories. “I was up until 1 am talking to Emme about Elf on the Shelf and a bunch of other random topics,” Storms shared in a follow-up the next morning. “The struggle is real. You can’t have the elf do the same thing every year.”
The conversation between the reel-life and real-life GH besties also led to a hilarious conversation in which Storms ranted about a cat piano her daughter Harper had received from Rylan a few years ago. “That thing got played so much the noise became distorted and she still played it,” Storms complained. “I questioned how you felt about me after that toy.”
The next day, Storms returned to Instagram Stories to share some ideas she’d found for fun activities to create with Harper’s elf. And she also revealed that she’d found the perfect payback for the annoying toy: She’d be gifting Rylan’s daughter, Dakota, elf twins! “During my search, I stumbled upon my revenge for Emme and the cat piano,” Storms shared. “Twins. I was so excited. And it was on sale, so it was meant to be. Sorry, Emme.”
Rylan, however, didn’t seem too put off by Storms’ discovery. “Hmmm, does Harper have a karaoke machine?” she wrote in the comments section of her pal’s post. “Just thinking of Christmas gift ideas.”
