Kirsten Storms Shares the Recipe for Her Favorite Comfort Food

Tags:

With everyone being asked to stay inside their homes during the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, it’s nice to have a little comfort food. And GENERAL HOSPITAL star Kirsten Storms (Maxie) shared not only a photo of one of her favorite dishes but the recipe to make it, too! “I have made this dish for years,” she said on Instagram. “I call it ‘Noodles.’ (Honestly, I just like that word.) My sister came over to do laundry so I made her one of my comfort foods.”

You’ll need turkey bacon, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, peas, parmesan cheese, and pasta. Storms recommends the Gluten-Free “Brown Rice and Red Lentil” spaghetti from Trader Joes. Cut the turkey bacon into smallish pieces and cook it in a skillet with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and pepper. “When crispy, add peas and keep skillet on low heat,” the actress instructed. “When the pasta is done, add it to skillet and toss ingredients together, adding more olive oil and lots of lemon juice. Top with parmesan cheese. For realzies, it’s delicious. Kinda like a guilt-free carbonara.”

The photos Storms shared had fans and friends salivating in the comments. “I need this,” declared her BFF, Emme Rylan (Lulu). Even James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) chimed in: “I kinda wanna eat that. I do.” Kelly Monaco (Sam) responded with the licking lips emoji and Kin Shriner (Scotty) revealed: “I do a version of that!”

It looks absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to try it for ourselves! For more from your favorite GH stars, keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
