Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey Celebrate Their Anniversary
Please join us in wishing GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Laura Wright (Carly) and Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter) a very happy anniversary! The couple is celebrating six years together and shared the love in corresponding Instagram posts.
Wright first posted a pair of pics to show “how it started” and “how it’s going.” The first is a black-and-white selfie taken on their first date six years ago, and the other was a snap of the pair enjoying a boat ride back in October 2022. “Happy six years, baby!”
In the comments to her post, Ramsey declared: “You changed everything.” To which she countered: You did!”
The two first met when they both worked together many years ago when they both starred on the CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT where Wright played Cassie and Ramsey played Sam. Then, after a fateful meeting at a Daytime Emmys party in 2017, the couple went on their first date on April 28 of that year.
Over on his own Instagram, Ramsey shared a pic of himself and his lady love and shared a heartfelt anniversary message. “Six years ago today I had her number and the butterflies to go with it!” he admitted. “She agreed to let me take her out on the town! We laughed and fell madly in love in a magical and instantaneous kind of way.
“We saw life theater, reminisced, courted one another with romance and honesty… and kept smiling and laughing into the night,” he continued. “I knew my life would never be the same again… and I’m a better man for it. Happy us day, beautiful! Here we are, still making our way. I love you.”
