Lisa LoCicero Teases Olivia’s Revenge Against Nina on GH!
Olivia was heartbroken when Ned’s head injury caused him to revert to his “Eddie Maine” persona on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but once she finds out that all of this drama was sparked by Nina turning Carly and Drew in to the SEC, her mood will definitely change!
When the SEC came after Carly and Drew for insider trading, the natural assumption everyone made was that Ned had turned them in out of revenge. But shortly before Ned’s accident, Olivia assured her husband that she’d changed her mind and now believed him when he insisted he was innocent.
“In my mind, she was not 100 percent sure that he didn’t do it, but she was going to support him anyway,” Lisa LoCicero explained to Soap Opera Digest. “That was a choice that she made, maybe without 100 percent faith in him. Her love for him made her choose that. And that was a very difficult conversation for her to have with Carly, but what else could she do?”
Olivia hasn’t been Nina’s biggest fan ever since she bought up Carly’s share of the Metro Court and the two women were forced to work together. And once the truth is finally revealed that Nina was the one who called the SEC and let Ned take the fall for it — literally, because his accident at the pool came as he was rushing to tell Drew what he’d learned — that’s when it’s all going to hit the fan!
“Oh yeah, I assume that’s coming,” LoCicero declared. “I mean, I assume that somewhere down the line, we’re all going to find out that Nina was behind that [call to the SEC]. That should be some good stuff, too. If Carly and Olivia and Sonny are all pissed off at her, she’s gonna be in big trouble!”
And as GH viewers know, when Olivia lets her Bensonhurst side come out, you never want to be on the receiving end of it! So while Nina may be primarily worried about how fiancé Sonny will react to her actions, she might also want to keep an eye on Olivia!
