Listen to Jonathan Jackson + Enation’s New Album Ultraviolet Empire!

At long last, the latest album from Jonathan Jackson + Enation is out! “Our new album, Ultraviolet Empire, is out today!” Jackson shared on Instagram. “This album is the culmination of several years of work. Thank you to our incredible co-producer Colin Linden for his vision and talent. Take a listen wherever you enjoy music. We look forward to hearing from you all!”

Jackson (ex-Lucky, GENERAL HOSPITAL) formed Enation back in 2004 with his brother, Richard. Jonathan plays guitar and piano while providing vocals, and Richard is on drums and percussion. The current lineup also includes Moon, who plays bass and Moog synthesizer.

“During the process of making our record, Ultraviolet Empire, the band recorded in several studios in Nashville,” Jackson revealed. “Each one had a distinct personality that lent itself to the creative process, helping to craft the sound and the space of the album.”

The track listing includes: “The Days are Evil,” “She Drove a Nail Through my Heart,” “The Light That Surrounds You,” “Theosis,” Ledge,” “On the Eastern Sky,” “The Roman Road,” “Thousand Mile Stare,” “Pieces of Heaven,” “Ultraviolet Empire (Hill of Slane),” “Island of Iona,” and the bonus track “Digging in the Dirt.”

You can stream the album on Spotify and Apple Music and you can even watch the music video for the title track “Ultraviolet Empire” (shot on location in Ireland!) right here!

Jackson has said previously that he remains open to possibly returning to GH to play Lucky Spencer again, but he’s currently living overseas and focusing on his music career, which would make a visit to Port Charles a little challenging. Still, at least you can enjoy some new music from the talented performer in the meantime!
