It’s time for the second episode of “Soaps In Quarantine,” GENERAL HOSPITAL star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and co-host Kaore Bonell welcome special guests Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Scott Clifton (Liam, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Dillon, GH) to talk about how they’re doing with self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic. And towards the end, Grahn discusses how many episodes of GH they have left to air since the soap shut down production in the middle of March. “I think we’re good until May 21 or something.”
That estimate is certainly farther out than the one William deVry (Julian) offered back on March 14 when news of the hiatus broke and he tweeted, “Seven weeks of GH in the can!” But of course, they are just estimates, and ABC has not yet specified when GH will run out of episodes to air or what their plan is when they do. Grahn also jokes about writing scenes for them to perform over Zoom, then adds with a laugh, “I’m sure this is gonna go over really big. Because I know that Frank loves my suggestions and listens to everything I say. Not!”
In this new episode, the group talk about what they’re binge-watching right now, exercising while in quarantine, self-care and mental health, and eating habits. Grahn also asked Benard to pick his favorite GH love interest and the pair reminisced about their infamous love scene on GH. Clifton also jokes about Liam constantly going from woman to woman on B&B, and Grahn gives Benard a set-up to promote his upcoming book, Nothing General About it. Benard also has a few things to say about the infamous moss in Sonny’s kitchen! Watch the newest episode right here!
