Parry Shen Is Having the Best Reaction to Brad’s Downfall on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Brad Cooper is a schemer on GENERAL HOSPITAL who fans love to hate, but portrayer Parry Shen is having the best time with his character’s downfall! Ever since Brad agreed to Nelle’s baby swap, viewers have been getting impatient waiting for the truth to come out and while it took well over a year, the wait was worth it! And Shen has been enjoying watching Brad facing the music right along with the fans as he’s demonstrated with some hilarious posts on social media!
First, he tried a little Star Wars Jedi mind manipulation as his TV set displayed the scene where Lucas began to remember Brad’s confession from the night of the car crash. “These are not the memories you’re looking for, Lucas,” a hooded Shen joked, waving his hand in front of the screen. And the actor’s reaction to his attempted mind control failing is perfect!
The next day, Shen shared another clip where he was watching the subsequent episode where Carly took charge of the situation, telling people she wanted to talk to her brother and didn’t care if people stayed or left. As Shen nodded and slowly moved towards his door, he stopped short as Carly declared: “The only two people who cannot leave are Brad and Michael.” Shen pulls his hand back from the door handle and the expression on his face is priceless.
Then, the following week, the daytime star shared a backstage clip of his reaction to Brad’s current storyline. “Been shooting a lot this week at GH,” he told his fans, “so I can’t remember what, exactly, we’re doing today because they all kind of blend together. But usually, you can look at the wardrobe that’s hanging by the door and get an idea of what’s happening.” Naturally, Shen is more than dismayed by Brad’s current ensemble!
While some fans may hope that they lock Brad up and throw away the key, there’s no denying that Port Charles would be a much less interesting place without the character. And the GH studio would be a lot less funny without Shen walking the halls and sharing his experiences with the fans. We can’t wait to see what both of them do next!
