Réal Andrews Reveals Details of Maurice Benard’s Secret Project!

Tags:

We can’t wait to find out more about these secret projects Maurice Benard (Sonny, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is working on! Réal Andrews (Taggert) revealed on Instagram that he and former GH co-star Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke) are working on a project with Benard but only revealed a few details about it. We wonder if this is the same top-secret project Benard worked on with his son, Joshua, or if the Emmy winner has more than one iron in the fire right now!

“I am on the set with Maurice Benard and Ian Buchanan,” Andrews announced. “Maurice is working on a personal secret project. He seems very excited about it. I did a scene with Ian Buchanan playing detectives and we were all laughing our hearts out.”

One of the details Andrews did divulge was that the project is actually directed by Benard himself. “The great thing about it is I’ve never been directed by Maurice,” he admitted. “It’s one thing to work with him but being directed by him is a whole new experience and personally, I’ve always wanted to work with him on that level. All Maurice cares about is that the scenes are real and truthful and I have never had so much fun.”

Andrews said the film was very Quentin Tarantino-esque, but couldn’t say much else. “I’m not allowed to say but trust me, the cast is beyond stellar,” he promised. The actor also urged fans to subscribe to his YouTube channel to make sure that they are one of the first to see the finished product when it’s ready to be screened! “Stay tuned!” he teased.

Can’t wait to see it, whatever it is, because, with talent like this involved, it’s going to be great!
