GH Alum Ryan Paevey Stars in ‘Two Tickets to Paradise!’
Daytime alum Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is starring in another Hallmark movie! Two Tickets to Paradise has just started production at the iconic Royal Hawaiian Resort in Oahu, Hawaii and Variety is reporting it should premiere soon as part of Hallmark Channel’s annual “Summer Nights” lineup.
Paevey’s co-star in the romantic comedy is another soap grad — Ashley Williams, who got her big break playing Dani Andropoulos on CBS sudser AS THE WORLD TURNS before going on to star in primetime series like GOOD MORNING, MIAMI, SAVING GRACE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, and THE JIM GAFFIGAN SHOW. In recent years, she has also appeared in numerous Hallmark films, such as the Christmas in Evergreen movies, the Sister Swap flicks, and more.
In Two Tickets to Paradise, Williams and Paevey play Hannah and Josh, who meet at the park after both coincidentally having just been left at the altar by their respective partners. Cheered up by discovering their common ground, the pair decide to go ahead and take their honeymoon vacations solo, only to find themselves at the same resort! Naturally, romance will ensue… this is a Hallmark movie, after all!
The cast also includes Mary-Margaret Humes as Josh’s old friend who lives on the island where the resort is located and shares her wisdom with the heartbroken duo. Viewers will recognize the actress from any number of her countless primetime appearances in shows as varied as THE FALL GUY, T.J. HOOKER, MURPHY BROWN, DAWSON’S CREEK (she played Dawson’s mom, Gail), and GHOST WHISPERER. Her recent work for Hallmark has included the movies A Valentine’s Match, A Feeling of Home, and Winter Love Story.
It’s still early in production on Two Tickets to Paradise, so there’s obviously no trailer yet and the only pictures available are the beautiful shots of Hawaii Paevey has been sharing on Instagram.
