Sarah Joy Brown Mourns the Loss of Her Beloved Dog, Shadow
Please join us in sending love to soap star Sarah Joy Brown (ex-Carly/Claudia, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Julia, AS THE WORLD TURNS; ex-Aggie, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Madison, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), who is mourning the loss of her beloved dog, Shadow. “I loved this baby boy so much,” she posted to Instagram. “Shadow Montgomery Brown, R.I.P. If you knew this old boy, you loved him.”
She also offered fans an explanation as to why her german shepherd had a middle name. “Jessica Dunphy, my ATWT co-star [who played Alison Stewart on the CBS sudser] gave him his middle name for Montgomery, PA,” Brown revealed. “No idea why, but it stuck.”
With Shadow passing over the Rainbow Bridge, fans flooded Brown’s Instagram comments with messages of love and sympathy. “I’m so sorry, Sarah,” wrote Kathie Gunn. “I know he’s been a part of your heart for a long time. He’ll live there forever.”
Last year, Brown also shared a little video clip on Instagram of her “good boy Shadow” playing around with a giant pillow out in the yard and he looks like he was having such a great time!
Our thoughts are with Brown and everyone else who knew and loved Shadow during this difficult time.
