See GH’s Josh Swickard and Wife Lauren’s Baby Gender Reveal!

Baby Swickard #2 will be arriving in the new year, and the little bundle of joy will be a baby boy! GENERAL HOSPITAL star Josh Swickard (Chase) escorted his wife, Lauren, to her baby shower over the weekend, which seemed to double as a gender-reveal party!

In snaps shared by Lauren in her Instagram Stories, she was feted by a small group of girlfriends — including Swickard’s GH co-star Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) — at a baby shower thrown in her honor. It’s a BOY!” the actor cheered in an Instagram post of his own, revealing that the couple’s 1-year-old daughter, Savannah, will be getting a baby brother.

Lauren later shared a video of highlights from her party, which included both she and Swickard biting into cupcakes baked by Susie Cakes Bakery that included blue buttercream frosting inside the sweet treat. The guests were also treated to bags of popcorn with a cheeky label announcing that Lauren was “ready to pop” and mugs of hot chocolate topped with gingerbread men cookies. “We are over the moon excited to meet you, baby BOY!” Lauren wrote in the caption accompanying her video. “Josh, watching you be the most amazing Dada to our babies is my favorite thing.”

In reply to his beautiful wife’s post, Swickard commented, “Love you and this little growing family.”

The Swickards revealed in late October that they were expecting their second child. The couple met on the set of the movie Roped back in 2017, with life imitating art as the actors fell in love alongside the characters they were playing. They were married in July 2019 and welcomed Savannah on April 2, 2021.
