Soap Alum Hayley Erin Is Pregnant With Twins!
Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Hayley Erin (ex-Kiki), who is pregnant with her first child! The actress posted a photo to Instagram of herself and husband Adam Fergus at a movie premiere and while there was no caption, she did scrawl “Mom + Dad” over their heads! Fergus shared a pic on his own Instagram of his wife covering his mouth that he captioned: “Hey, guess wh…” ending with a zipped lip emoji.
Since she made the announcement on April 1, some fans worried they were being suckered in by an April Fool’s joke, but Erin followed up the next day with a post showing off her baby bump and revealing that she’s expecting twins — both girls!
Erin — who also appeared as Abby on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — married Irish actor Fergus in 2020 and made the surprise announcement to fans in September of that year, also sharing some pics from their honeymoon in Ireland. Naturally, Erin’s former GH co-stars were quick to share in the baby joy with Josh Swickard (Chase) sending some heart emojis and his wife, Lauren writing, “OK what is happening, this better be real!” Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin) declared, “I am far beyond happy for you both” and Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan) commented: “Dood. So happy for ya.” Tamara Braun (ex-Kim; ex-Carly) cheered “Whoop whoop!” and former Kiki Kristen Alderson exclaimed: “Wait, OMG! Congratulations!”
The trend with pregnancy announcements lately has been actors revealing the big news about a month before giving birth! Erin has given no details whatsoever about her upcoming bundle of joy, but if the photo that Fergus shared of them was current, the mom-to-be’s baby bump doesn’t look quite that far along. So keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com for the latest updates as we await the arrival of what will no doubt be one of the most beautiful babies ever!
