Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson Have an Important Message for Fans

Tags:

Social media has become a great way for soap fans to keep up with their favorite stars and even interact with them. But one of the dangers of the internet is that you never know who you’re actually speaking with behind that keyboard. And there are a lot of scammers out there who try to impersonate actors and actresses in order to lure unsuspecting fans into giving them personal information or even money.

Steve Burton (Harris, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Jason GENERAL HOSPITAL) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GH) —known together as Stone Cold and the Jackal — want to make sure that their fans aren’t tricked by anyone pretending to be them.

“Hey, everyone!” they posted to social media. “These are verified accounts for Stone Cold and the Jackal. Lost of imposters out there and we even have imposters posting on our verified pages! We do not reach out personally to our fans or comment on our pages to you. Beware of scammers.”

The posts then list their official social media accounts. On Instagram, you can find Burton at @1SteveBurton, Anderson at @BFordAnderson, and the pair of them at @StoneColdandtheJackal. Over on Twitter (currently going by X), their handles are @1SteveBurton, @BFordAnderson, and @StoneColdJackal

For both Facebook and the new social media platform Threads, there are no accounts for the individual actors, but as Stone Cold and the Jackal, they can be found at @StoneColdandtheJackal on both.

So if a Steve Burton or Bradford Anderson ever messages you on Facebook, you know it’s a scam. So don’t fall for it! “Please block, report, and don’t engage,” they urged fans who run across these imposters.
