Steve Burton Announces He and Wife Sheree Have Separated

Soap star Steve Burton is in the middle of some real-life drama as he has just announced his separation from his wife, Sheree. “I wanted to clear something up,” the actor wrote in an Instagram story. “Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her fourth child. The child is not mine.

“We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids,” Burton continued. “We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much love, Steve.”

Burton and Sheree were married 23 years ago on Jan. 17, 1999, and have three children together — Makena (18), Jack (16), and Brooklyn (7). The actor, who has played Jason Morgan on GENERAL HOSPITAL and Dylan McAvoy on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS will next be seen in the second series of the DAYS OF OUR LIVES spinoff BEYOND SALEM reprising his role of Harris Michaels.

We hope all his fans will join us in granting the couple the privacy that they’ve requested during this difficult time in their lives.
