Steve Burton Asks Beard or No Beard? — Vote Now!

In recent years, Steve Burton has settled into a familiar look that he’s sported playing Jason on GENERAL HOSPITAL and even during his stint as Dylan on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Sure, his hair has been blonder, and it’s been longer, but fans have grown used to seeing the actor looking a certain way. But he recently solicited their opinions when he shared a selfie he took a few years back. “My beard attempt five years ago,” he posted with a laugh. “Yes or no? Have a good one!”

The scruffy look garnered quite a flood of comments from both fans and friends. GH castmate Ingo Rademacher (Jax) declared: “Super sexy. Love it.” Then Maurice Benard (Sonny) joked: “Looks like hell.” And finally, Burton’s Y&R dad Doug Davidson (Paul) was glad to note the caption placing this snap in the past. “Oh whew,” he teased. “I thought you were on a bender.”

Benard grew a beard for a project he was working on earlier this year and asked fans for their feedback as well, so we thought we’d do the same thing for Burton that we did for his pal.
