Sydney Mikayla Reveals What It’s Like Working With Maura West on GH (EXCLUSIVE)

As Sydney Mikayla (Trina) celebrates her first anniversary with GENERAL HOSPITAL this month, she says she’s been having a blast in Port Charles. “It’s all still so new and exciting for me,” she gushed to Soaps In Depth. “I’m learning a lot from the other teen actors and from the veterans on the show, too. Some of my favorite scenes have been with Maura West (Ava). She is a soap opera icon! It’s an honor to share the screen with her.”

And like Trina, Mikayla’s taking notes from the pro she gets to work with — and thankfully, West sets a better example than Ava. “She’s so nice and makes me feel very comfortable when we do our scenes together,” said the young actress. “So I’m looking forward to seeing how Trina and Ava’s friendship will blossom.”
