The GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Club Instagram Has Been Hacked

If you follow the Official GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Club on Instagram, you should know that the account was recently hacked by someone promoting bitcoin investments so ignore that recent post as well as any communication you may receive from the GHFC Instagram account.

“Please be advised that the Official GH Fan Club Instagram account has been hacked,” Fan Club president Debbie Morris said in a statement shared on other social media channels to get the word out. “Until further notice, please disregard any potential messages sent or posted as a DM or otherwise via that account, particularly if a link is shared. They are not coming from the Official GH Fan Club itself.

“We apologize for any and all inconvenience this may cause,” she continued. “We are working diligently with Instagram on regaining access to our Instagram account and we will provide you with updates on the status of this matter as soon as a resolution has been found. Thank you for your understanding.”

The Official GH Fan Club has been in operation for over four decades, and organizes the annual GH Fan Club Weekend where fans can get up-close and personal with their favorite stars. Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic, those events were last held in 2019 as the GHFCW 2020 had to be canceled.

And remember, this warning only applies to posts and messages from the GHFC Instagram account. You can still visit the GH Fan Club’s official website as well as their Facebook and Twitter. And we’re sure that they’ll get their Instagram back very soon.
