Three GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Faves to Star in a New Holiday Film!

Tags:

Fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL will want to add Most Wanted Santa to their holiday movie viewing list! Donnell Turner (Curtis), Teresa Castillo (ex-Sabrina), and Mark Lawson (ex-Dustin) are all set to appear in the upcoming Christmas-themed film, which began production earlier this week.

Director Kristin Fairweather posted on Instagram that “Day 1 in the books” was a good day. And Castillo shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram of her with the movie’s director of photography standing next to a Christmas tree. “My jaw dropped when I walked on set yesterday and saw this badass Latina, Mariscela Mendez, behind the camera as director of photography,” the GH alum wrote. “Such a huge sense of pride came over me watching her command the room and do her thing.”

Meanwhile, Lawson posted a short video clip on Instagram as he was trying to mentally run lines with his three daughters chattering in the background. “When your Mr. Mom day #6 and you’re running lines in the mind cave,” he wrote, joking in the hashtags that his mind is mush. While Lawson didn’t indicate that the script he was studying was for Most Wanted Santa, his post was made on the same day that the movie began production.

Most Wanted Santa is written by Kathryn Down — who also penned 2016’s Season’s Greetings, starring daytime alum Laura Bell Bundy (Marah, GUIDING LIGHT). While there is no synopsis available yet for Most Wanted Santa, Castillo will be playing the role of Carly Lopez, Turner has been cast as Chris North, and Lawson will appear as Matthew McDowell. In the photo that Castillo shared, she has a police badge clipped to her jeans, so presumably, her character is part of the local law enforcement team that will be looking for the titular most wanted Santa!
